Terms of Service
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the Rangea mobile application ("the App") or accessing www.rangea.app ("the Website"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). You must be at least 16 years of age to use Rangea.
2. Description of Service
Rangea is an EV driving companion providing:
- Automatic and manual trip recording with GPS route tracking
- Driving efficiency analysis, eco scores, and energy metrics
- Route planning and navigation
- Social features: sharing, following, comments, and likes
- Vehicle telemetry monitoring via Tesla Fleet Telemetry
- Gamification: badges, achievements, and leaderboards
3. Account Registration
You are responsible for providing accurate information, keeping your credentials secure, and not sharing your account.
4. Tesla Integration
By connecting your Tesla, you authorise Rangea to access vehicle data as described in our Privacy Policy. You may revoke access at any time.
Rangea is an independent application and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Tesla, Inc.
5. Subscriptions & Payments
Rangea may offer free and paid subscription tiers. Payments are handled through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
6. User Content
You retain ownership of content you create. By posting publicly, you grant Rangea a non-exclusive licence to display it. Offensive, illegal, or misleading content is prohibited.
7. Acceptable Use
You may not: reverse engineer the app, use automated tools, impersonate others, spam, access other users' data, or disrupt the service.
8. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Driving data is for informational purposes only and is not a substitute for your vehicle's instruments.
9. Limitation of Liability
Rangea is not liable for indirect damages, data loss, service interruptions, or actions based on driving data. Maximum liability: the greater of amounts paid in the preceding 12 months or fifty euros.
10. Force Majeure
Rangea is not liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control, including natural disasters, power failures, internet outages, or Tesla API outages.
11. Changes to Terms
Material changes will be notified at least 14 days before taking effect via in-app notification or email.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Denmark. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Copenhagen, Denmark.
